Library Assistant II (Acquisitions) (part-time) (Ref. 150410-03)
[Appointment period: three months]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) verify books’ information in CPCE library catalogue;
(b) place orders for library acquisitions;
(c) unpack new books from service providers;
(d) compile title lists in Excel/Word format; and 
(e) perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be required to work in daytime and is required to perform duties on the campus in West Kowloon.

Qualifications

Applicants should have the following qualifications and qualities:

(a) at least Grade E/Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKCEE or HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics;
(b) basic knowledge of using library catalogue; and
(c) proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing. 

Full-time students are welcome to apply.

Remuneration

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
