Responsibilities- Implement software based solutions to user requests for internal customer.
- Develop data interfaces among database systems (both internal and external).
- Troubleshoot system issues with in-house developed applications and data interfaces.
- Carry out ad-hoc requests for data and report.
- Provide user support to local and overseas offices.
Requirement, Skills & Experience- University graduate in Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least 3 years IT working experience in database application development.
- Hands-on experience with databases, including MS SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL .
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Proficient in database design, data integration and report development.
- Understanding of object-oriented design.
- Experience with Java, JEE, JSP, Servlets, PHP, Linux, Unix will be an advantage.
- Independent, initiative, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skill and team oriented.
- Good command of spoken and written English whereas Mandarin is an advantage.
