This role contributes to Starbucks success by ensuring efficient and effective development of new products within the designated scope, developing solutions to process issues, and maintains the product library/database.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Sets up and maintain the product library/product development database with food and beverage information, as well as packaging data. Initiates technical specifications and technical manual information such as process flows for new products.
• Gathers and maintains product and technology trend information.
• Assists to prepare and organize tasting sessions for new food and beverage concepts.
• Compiles sensory results and reports post product tasting sessions.
• Maintains project file, develops technical manuals, and documentation.
• Collaborates closely with other cross-functional teams – Marketing & Category, Supply Chain, Operations and Quality Assurance team, etc.

Summary of Experience

• Min.2 years of work experience in Product or Menu Development in food and beverage, or related food industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Degree holder in Food Science / Food Technology discipline
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to think creatively
• Quantitative and analytical ability
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Project
