Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting and regulatory disclosures of the Bank’s securities investments, interest rate swaps and foreign exchange forward contracts
• Carry out the accounting functions for the Treasury Department including reviewing ratings, investment data, accrued interest and pricing for bond investments to ensure accuracy and consistency with the General Ledger
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare investment and risk management schedules and disclosures for the Interim Report and Annual Report to ensure compliance with the accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review banking returns to the HKMA relating to financial risk management and Treasury activities
• Monitor the Bank’s financial risks by performing stress tests on credit, interest rate, liquidity, market and counterparty risks, and connected lending
• Involve in the Bank’s capital management activities through participation in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (“ICAAP”)

Requirements:

• University graduate in Accounting / Finance / Risk Management or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 8 years’ risk management, asset and liability management, financial and regulatory reporting experiences gained from Big Four audit firms and/or banking industry
• Professional qualification in HKICPA or ACCA
• Qualified CFA or FRM with practical risk management experience
• Solid knowledge in regulatory and reporting requirements of HKMA
• Sound knowledge in HKAS and HKFRS
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
