Scope of Responsibility:
- Supervise a team of 5 staffs to support the daily operation of Finance department in Hong Kong
- Support the month-end closing activities of the company which include but not limited to preparation of reporting schedules and co-ordination of the closing processes with Corporate office
- Prepare financial analysis to support day-to-day decision making and operating efficiency improvement of senior management
- Supervise the customer credit offering process, AR collection and overdue billable orders review and the RMA processes
- Review inventory reserve and co-ordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper inventory management procedures in place
- Coordinating with IT team to develop necessary reports for better business analysis
- Interface with different internal departments for process improvement
- Coordinate with Corporate office to ensure SOX compliance in Asia
- Support and co-ordinate the annual stock take and annual audit of the company
- Support upcoming new ERP system development in the region and any ad hoc project as needed
Working Experience:
- 8 years or more related experience in the mixture of both G/L and Financial Planning & analysis roles, of which at least 3 years are at managerial role
- Big 4 background with manufacturing and/or sourcing industries are preferable
- Proficiency with ERP system
- Previous SOX experiences are advantageous
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
- University graduate in Finance or Accounting
- Qualified member of ACCA / HKICPA or equivalent
- Computer literate, well versed in MS Excel, Powerpoint & Word
- Excellent analytical & presentation skill with good business acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good command in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
- Process "hands-on" and “can-do” attitude with the ability to be multitasked & prioritize workloads
