Job Descriptions

• Initial review of Financial/Management Statements and supporting work papers.
• Review of current accounting procedures and clerical staff job functions.
• Data capture( from store and head office), data approval  & data entry and payment of costs.
• Implementation of new MYOB accounting system, with divisional store reporting and consolidation.
• We will provide the chart of accounting and full coding structure to allow multi-function reporting and analysis.
• Transfer of existing financial statements information from QuickBooks to MYOB.
• Liaise with Bank and MYOB to allow data transfer of Bank transactions on either daily or weekly basis.
• Preparation of Divisional and consolidated monthly management financial statements.
• Generate month end reports including
• Correct month end cut off for reporting.
• Month end journals and accruals. ( Stock, Accounts Payable, Wages for part week and annual leave accrual, royalties, etc.)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Asset Registers
• Profit and Loss analysis.
• Complete monthly balance sheet general reconciliations to ensure reconciliation of all balance sheet items on a monthly basis.
• Various specific reporting for key KPI’s on a monthly basis and sales on a weekly basis.
• Preparation of variance analysis report on a monthly basis and investigation of material variances, & reporting on these.
• Assist with year-end statutory reporting
• Assist with annual budgets
• Provide day to day management of Accounts payable staff.
• Assist payroll function.
• Resolve high end vendor issues.
• Involvement in continuous improvements and systems enhancements
• Provide business support through the provision of timely & accurate reporting
• Various accounting tasks and special projects as required.
• Reconciliations of sales information from store collection systems and banking’s.
• Cash management/treasury function as requested.
• Provide support to channel and store managers.
• Assist CEO and CFO in respect of special projects.
