The Role: MIM Asia have a requirement for an intern to work within their investment consulting team. The role holder will have the opportunity to develop a solid understanding of the business specifically in the areas of asset allocation, manager selection. In addition, the intern will assist with a real client project on fund risk rating and due diligence.

Responsibilities:

+ To analyze fund prospectuses and due diligence questionnaires, organize, enter the data into the system, and to populate the data into the pre-designed report template

+ To gather data/information on Hong Kong specific asset classes and help develop Hong Kong-based global asset allocation work

+ To assist MIM team members with ad hoc project work

Requirements:

+ A team player with a hands-on attitude combined with excellent organizational skills

+ Solid communication skills both written and oral with a high level of English articulacy

+ Excellent attention to detail together with a professional approach to the working environment

+ A self-starter with the ability to work in a demanding environment

+ Sound analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex information together with high attention to detail

+ Solid computer skills including Microsoft applications

+ To be enrolled on an undergraduate or graduate degree programme, preferably specializing in economics, statistics or finance

+ Work in our office 2-2.5 days per week. This is a contract based part-time position.
