Objective of the Position

To provide translation and interpretation for Japanese – Chinese (Putonghua) support for the Company.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform translation of corporate documents from Japanese to Chinese
• Perform interpretation for Japanese – Chinese (Putonghua) in meetings, trainings and conferences
• Provide secretarial support in internal and external meeting e.g. schedule meetings, take minutes etc.
• Provide administrative support to the management team
• Assist in ad-hoc assignment as required

Basic Job Requirements

• Degree holder and preferably major in Japanese Language, Chinese Studies or Translation
• Certification of Level I in Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT I) or equivalent is a must.
• Able to translate and interpret during meeting, lecture and conference
• 2 years of related working experience
• Proven excellent command of verbal and written Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Native level Putonghua speaker is preferred
• Fluency in English Language will be an added advantage.
