Introduction:

Haitong International Securities Group’s (HTI) global capital market business covers Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities and Equity Derivatives sales/trading/investment, institutional sales/trading, asset management as well as other lines of wholesale business. Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent control department responsible for HTI’s financial risk management functions, i.e. Market Risk Management (MRM), Credit Risk Management (CRM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM).

HTI’s Global Markets business has been through significant expansions recently.  To ensure effective control and to support business developments, we are looking for a highly motivated and talented risk management professional to cover various CRM-Global Markets (in parallel to CRM-Retail) functions. It is an excellent opportunity for the candidate both to grow professionally and to make significant contributions to the success of CRM, GRM and HTI.

The Job:

• Manage the CRM section the of client on-boarding due diligence process, including ISDA/CSA and other business relationships such as GMRA and bank funding
• Assist in developing and managing CRM policies and procedures for Global Markets business
• Manage ACL (Approved Counterparty/Client List), and client database centralization
• Participate in collateral risk management tasks
• Participate in settlement risk management including credit-lines/limits setting and management
• Ad-hoc credit analyses/research to support management decision making

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics or other advanced degree in a numerical discipline, FRM highly preferred
• Sound knowledge/understanding of the theory/practice of CRM both in general and in global markets business specially
• With 3 years’ solid, hands-on, progressive experiences in top banks/securities firms
• Highly motivated and strive for excellence, with high professional standards
• Highly analytical with strong technical capabilities
• Proactive and versatile, , with real/strong interests in global markets business and risk management
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
