Our client stands out as a successful international tier 1 capital corporate banking group offering comprehensive corporate and private banking services in AP region is in search for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Head/Deputy Head. This is an expansion headcount to cater for the progressive growth in the region.
Report to the Regional Head of CFO and tasked with the following missions -- Accountable for the timely deliverables of regulatory reporting and fulfilment of HKMA and regulatory requirements by supervising a small team of experienced accountants
- Assume the subject matter expert to interpret and advise senior management on any related changes
- On-going review and enhancement of regulatory reporting framework
- Ad-hoc participation in any local and regional projects to cater for new regulatory requirements and new product/services initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualified in accounting, big 4 trained is highly desirable with at least 8-10 years relevant and steady in-house regulatory reporting experience earned from banks
- Well versed with HKMA regulatory and Basel reporting requirements is a pre-requisite
- Strong leadership skill with over 4 years+ holding supervisory/people management accountability
- Track record in advising and consulting senior management on any changes with the HKMA regulatory requirements
- Understanding of wealth management and corporate banking business activities is essential
- Proven regional finance project/ change management experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good teamwork spirit
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
