Schneider’s subsidiary in Hong Kong is responsible for sales and after-sales service in the Asia Pacific region. The Project Engineer will assist the customers in achieving the maximum performance of the machines and processes.

Your main tasks will be:

• To provide technical support to customers onsite, on the phone or remotely
• Troubleshoot and to repair the optical machines at the location of the customer
• To provide installation and commissioning optical machines at customer’s location
• Being responsible for new machine / equipment projects that includes lab management systems, fully automated machine lines and dedicated processes

On job training will be provided, after that you will be working independently at customer sites around Asia Pacific.

You should therefore have the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Higher Diploma / Certificate in electrical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent 
• Knowledge of CNC controlled machines is highly desirable
• Excellent mechanical skills, any industry related experience is a definite plus 
• Fluent in spoken and written in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and other standard software
• Willingness to extensively travel is indispensable
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
