We are currently representing one of the top garment manufacturers in hiring an experienced Sourcing Director – Trims & Accessories to join its dynamic team. The position offers excellent regional exposure and an attractive remuneration package.
Job Responsibilities
- Report to the VP, lead and manage Trims & Accessories sourcing and vendor management activities
- Define and implement a three-year plan for Trims & Accessories aligned with corporate direction
- Identify and select the right vendors and manage price and condition negotiation as well as relationship building
- Responsible for production allocation based on product, price, production capability and capacity, and quality performance
- Lead supplier audit, evaluation and selection processes
- Streamline operations in order to obtain the best prices and conditions and get involved in projects on improving the effectiveness of Trims & Accessories
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree holder
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Trims & Accessories sourcing with regional exposure within the garment industry
- Proficiency in Excel and Data Analysis
- Entrepreneurial, analytical and strong in figures
- Excellent people management, leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
