Our client is a leading professional services firm that provides a variety of services to a range of local and international clients. Due to their continued expansion locally and across Asia they are actively seeking a Finance Director to help support the growth and development of the group. This is a good opportunity for a junior Finance Director with a strong financial control background that is looking to expand into a more commercial related finance role. It will give you the opportunity to help formulate the direction of the company and implement strategy. The role will be part of the senior management team and will provide a clear and attractive international career path for the right individual.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the internal finance team for the Greater China region
• Ensuring weekly reporting provided to senior management team on business performance
• Responsibility for the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting of business performance
• Monthly consolidated reporting for the region
• Oversight of AR/AP and the treasury requirements of the business
• Managing a team of 5 across the region, requiring proper performance management
• Supervise finance projects in relation to setting up new offices and/or M&A transactions

To qualify for this role you will require:

• A relevant accounting qualification and at least 10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good people management skills and experience in interacting with senior global management
• Understanding the importance of the finance function in providing strategic support to the business
• Preferably a professional or financial services industry background
• Good communication skills in English and preferably Cantonese and Mandarin
