Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closing and AS400 system upload to general ledger (CODA)
• Prepare financial statements and perform reconciliation of interco current accounts
• Liaise with auditors and arrange statutory audit for the company
• Prepare statutory filing and returns with OCI, SFC, Companies Registry, Inland Revenue (Tax)
• Perform account and bank reconciliations
• Perform valuation on the IFA/ILP funds
• Participate in financial projects as required - including the design and scope of the financial operational workflow for new business initiatives
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of finance record.
• Explore new process re-engineering opportunities in the current financial processes aimed to improve operational efficiency.
  
  

Requirements:

• A degree holder, Qualified Accountant and trained in big-4
• Member of Professional Accounting Association (eg. HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Knowledgeable in accounting standards, ordinance and other relevant regulatory framework for financial services/banking industry
• Proficient in financial reporting, month and year end closing procedures
• Analytical, cross-cultural and enthusiastic
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated and with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Able to work under pressures and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in spreadsheet & MS Office software application
• Minimum 5-8 years financial reporting experience in the financial services or banking industry
