JOB DESCRIPTION

Projection is looking for enthusiastic and energetic person to join our team in Hong Kong (Central) as a Business Consultant for our Scenario Advantage application software, specifically in the area of Financial Accounting.

We require candidates that have a keen interest in technology and learning systems and can work within a team environment. A suitable applicant should be self-starting and able to learn quickly.

Position Duties

As a consultant, you will be required to implement and support our Financial Management suite at Client sites/projects. This comprises the following key tasks:

• Business Process Review

• Meeting with the client to discuss and confirm current business processes in relation to project management and financial data management

• Relate processes to software functionality and identify how the software will be used in support of those business processes

• Document client business processes in relation to the software

• Identify required configuration for the software system to support the business processes

• Client requirements definition & software design

• Document client requirements

• Complete functional design documents (Projection Software Developers complete technical design and coding)

• Report designs and layouts

• Dashboard designs and layouts

• Training

• Customisation of application training materials

• Training delivery to user groups for initial implementation

• On-going training for client users as required or requested

• Provide end-user support

• Assist Support Desk with queries from customers

• Operational Support including month end reconciliations

• Participation in testing of developed software

• Complete testing on modified or new functionality

• Confirm functionality operates as per intended functional design and client requirements

• Identify and document issues found

• Work with Projection Software Developers to close out issues

 REQUIREMENTS

• Sound experience in preparing (or assisting in preparing) monthly financial reports and the various operational processes including purchasing, AR, AP, GL, Assets

• Minimum 3 years’ experience

• Ideal if you have worked for a Construction, Engineering or Property Development company

• Sound exposure to associated documents and records management

• After someone who doesn’t want to work inside the Accounts office anymore and wants the change to the IT/Systems related aspect of financial accounting

• OR ALTERNATIVELY;

• Experienced person working as a Consultant for an IT company providing solutions to the Construction, Engineering or Property Development sectors in the area of Accounting

• Minimum 2 years’ experience

• Product experience that would be ideal include SAP, Oracle Financials, Coins, Cheops, Jobpac, JDEdwards, Timberline, Red Sky IT, Meridian/Prolog, Pronto

• Must have good spoken & written English, in addition to Cantonese, Mandarin

• Excellent capability in learning and understanding software systems and core concepts

• Strong attention to detail and organised

• Excellent phone manner, communication, people and problem solving skills
