RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design structure of programs including diagrams, tables and flowcharts to show the sequence of operations that computers must follow to perform their functions.
• Provide development duration estimation for assigned programs.
• Code, test and debug programs.
• Assist in overall systems test as well as stress testing to ensure that the programs work efficiently.
• Assist Systems Analyst in certain analytical/design tasks.
• Produce program documentation for other programmers who may have to make future amendments, and contribute to a manual for users.
• Prepare instructions for a computer operator (working in a operation environment) who will run the program.
• Carry out post implementation maintenance to update, repair, modify and expand existing programs.
• Respond to service requests/incidents of application areas and perform trouble shooting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder of an IT related discipline, Those without the preferred qualifications should possess a diploma of an IT related discipline and have at least one year IT experience in application development
• Familiar with .NET development environment
• Knowledge of the Windows application development is preferred
• Experience with Web applications development is an advantage
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, are vital when the job holder is required to discuss problems with colleagues/users, write reports and document programs.
• Positive attitude, independent and able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills and a good team player
