The UX designer/architect will set the long-term vision and strategy for user experience and develop tactics to achieve the vision.

The senior User Experience Architect will iterate designs based on usability test results. Translate findings into design recommendations to quickly improve product designs early in the design cycle Plan and organise before performing tests or laying out designs

Assist Product Management and feature teams in defining functional interaction requirements specifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep the interface beautiful and easy to use. Direct the visual appearance of all new features and enhancements on our software application
• Initiate, suggest, and spearhead major UI re-factorings for a more intuitive user-experience
• Design elegant solutions to complex workflows. Design things that people will talk about
• Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective
• Act as “go to” with in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards. Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations
• Take the initiative in providing input and feedback in both departmental discussions and on issues relating to other departments
• Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, behavioural specifications, workflow models, navigation structures, information designs, storyboards.
• Collaborating on user experience planning

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3++ years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices
• Must be detail oriented with strong organization skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under time constraints. Understanding of agile development process and methodologies (waterfall/scrum) and how iterative design process integrates
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique
• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
• Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools
• Experience with user interface design patterns
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common software project management practices
• Understanding of common software development practices
  
  
  

ADDITIONAL

• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, ObjectiveC (iOS), C++/Java (Android) a plus
• Experience in design for ecommerce, business applications, payment solutions, and other enterprise level solutions a plus
