Job Responsibilities:

• ŸTo develop and taking full responsibility of the Mechanical Design for consumer and business electronic products from concept to detailed engineering design
• To prepare related technical documents, conducts analysis of engineering design to meet product and manufacturing requirements.
• To manage junior/supporting engineers within the Product Creation team
• To lead in the Design and Production validation, testing of existing products/projects.
• To provide engineering expertise in tooling and manufacturing.
• To make sure the existing products/projects complete on time, on specification and within cost budget.
• To participate in the pilot-production run and mass production in factory.
• Able to troubleshoot, conduct root causes analysis and problem solving process.
• Research and analysis to develop new product proposals including new idea generation, market trend studies and cost analysis.

Job Requirements:

• ŸDegree or Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Design / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3-7 years in specific Mechanical Design for consumer electronics. Familiar with headphone and headset products will be a huge advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical technologies, including plastic & metal materials properties, tooling, plastic injection, metal stamping, finishing and manufacturing processes is a must.
• Good understanding of tolerance analysis, DFM, FMEA and related design tools etc.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD/CAM software applications is a must, such as AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid Works, Catia, etc.
• Familiar with CorelDraw, Photoshop, 3DMax, etc. is preferred but not essential.
• Good command in spoken & written English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Creative, Mature, Self-motivated, Well-organized, Proactive, Independent, must be able to think outside the box and with good problem solving skill and good time management skills.
• Station in HK with occasional travel to Shenzhen
• Double pay, Travel Allowance
• Less-experience applicant may be considered in junior role.
