RESPONSIBILITIES:

l   Identify the potential quality problem or shortfalls for the product/process/operation and provide the improvement suggestion

l   Lean study & continuous improvement investigation and follow up for the product but also for the whole supply chain process

l   Develop and project management for a high end parasol product and its accessories & extension series

l   Monitor the supplier andQC performance with regular reporting

l   Liaise & investigate the claims and quality complaint issues with supplier and customer

l   Support the product development for general hardgoods items but mainly focus on indoor & outdoor furniture

REQUIRMENTS:

l   Candidates must have bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing/Production Engineering or Quality Management or related field

l   At least 5 years working experience in indoor/outdoor furniture area & take the role in technical/quality position, has working experience in buying office for UK or European market is preferable

l   Good understanding for the different kinds of manufacturing process, product design, material & construction, testing/compliance regulation & quality inspection for the furniture and/or hardgoods items

l   Has knowledge & experience in ceramic basin, bathtub & shower cabin is an advantage but not a must

l   Good analytical, problem solving & presentation skill is necessary and able to work independently

l   Good written & oral communication skills in English & Mandarin

l   Occasionally travel to China is required
