Duties:

• Develop program and system to plan and manage medical device inventory
• Provide consultancy services for biomedical technology advancement in the hospital
• Provide advisory services on procurement, operation, commission and decommission of medical devices
• Assist to manage maintenance service contracts and monitor contractors’ performance
• Perform risk assessment on medical devices and assist to conduct clinical audit to ensure the high quality of medical device
• Install, calibrate, operate, maintain and repair all medical devices with the ability to liaise with vendor
• Schedule preventive maintenance of all medical devices and monitor all maintenance activities
• Arrange and manage corrective maintenance of faulty medical devices
• Record all maintenance history, of all medical devices, and evaluate the performance of each device
• Respond to and keep record of medical device hazardous alert and recall
• Investigate medical device incidents
• Provide safety training and operation training for clinical staffs
  
  

Requirements:

• Holder of a bachelor degree, or higher, in Biomedical Engineering / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably with two years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Good communication skill with mandatory Chinese and English literacy, and fluent in oral English and Cantonese
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good customer service skills, communication skills and team oriented
• Computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheet applications, database management and Windows-related operating environments
• Knowledge in the operation of maintenance, calibration and testing tools
• Work on shift (include Sunday)
