Job duties:

• Assist ICT Manager to handle project tasks
• Perform user requirement collection at working level
• Study and document users’ requirements and propose feasible solutions for manager’s consideration to ensure all users’ requirements are addressed properly
• Participate in implementation cycle, engage in users support, and system improvement after system goes live
• Responsible for user acceptance test (UAT) preparations and data conversion process of projects
• Manage and track progress against project plans, status reports, and issue logs
• Manage the critical network infrastructure and related systems
• Responsible for network/system setup, administration and troubleshooting
• Advise on infrastructure architecture, design, performance and capacity
• Co-ordinate with developers to design and build new infrastructure to support future enhancements to the applications
• Develop, document and implement contingency plans
• Devise, document, implement and perform operational procedures
• Escalate risks and exposures to next level of management
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the manager to support the business goals
  
  
  

Requirements:

• University graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years of solid experience in Systems Development, Project Management, Infrastructure Design and Management, Firewall/VPN gateway and Server platform (Linux & Windows);
• Able to continually track project progress and assess project situations
• Able to write system development papers such as project scope and specifications for project planning
• Able to manage multiple projects and liaise with external IT service providers
• Strong skills in cloud computing technology, security policy and compliance;
• Certificate holder of either PMP, CCNP, VCP or LPI is preferred
• Solid communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• A good participative team player with self-initiative, highly motivated & result oriented
• Immediate availability is preferred
