EIRE Systems is looking for a Technical Consultant & Support Team Leader to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will look after a team that provides professional IT services to our enterprise clients. You will also have the opportunity to help build and lead a team of support engineers to provide IT support services at the highest level to our growing number of clients.

Customer management is a major challenge in this role and your ability to work without constant supervision, as well as your excellent time management skills (i.e. identifying and prioritizing tasks) will be keys to your success.

Your first priority will be in providing exceptional customer support for various end-user computing technologies (i.e. desktop PCs, mobile devices, office and financial applications, client-server and cloud/web-based solutions etc.). Your high work ethic and willingness to work hard and develop your technical and professional knowledge will be rewarded with ongoing opportunities to be involved in a wide range IT projects and support services such as:

• Enterprise PC and server deployment and upgrade projects
• Email, network and software installation and support,
• Server/Network design, installation, configuration and testing for small-medium environments;
• Security solutions (firewalls/encryption technologies) installation and testing;
• Project management, project planning and implementation; Conducting Site surveys and preparing systems recommendations and documentation; Vendor Management and Hardware/Software procurement

Qualifications and Skill/Experience Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of Windows 7, XP and Active Directory. Windows 8 knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in installing and deploying PC hardware and software in a professional setting.
• Ability to support Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange or Lotus Notes.
• Understanding of and willingness/ability to expand your knowledge of network designs and related support issues. Cisco networking skills/experience will be an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications (i.e. CCNA, MCITP, MCDST etc.) will add value to your application.
• Ability to communicate in a highly professional manner with users, internal/external customers and business partners.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

Language Skills
Fluent to Native-level verbal and written communication skills using English is an absolute must.
