Job Description
Payroll & Office Administrator
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Payroll:
- End to end processing of company’s payroll(s).
- Collate information for above, process, produce reports and journals and file.
- Prepare and remit monthly salary, contributions and statements.
- Reconciliation of payroll related general ledger accounts.
- Preparation of various payroll related reports for managers.
- Termination and redundancy calculations as required.
- End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries.
- Preparation of tax returns.
Human Resources
- Co-ordination and management of workers compensation.
- Co-ordination of salary and contributions ensuring company meets statutory requirements.
- Answering staff queries regarding payroll and human resources matters.
- Preparation of employee contracts and letters of offer/rejection.
- Organise recruitment and selection including advertising, short listing applicants and correspondence.
- Ad hoc HR and Payroll matters.
General Administration
- Organise daily office administration and ad hoc duties.
Competencies required:
- Demonstrated end to end payroll processing, HR assistance experience and multi-tasking.
- Customer service focus.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
- Numerical ability, data entry skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Understanding of payroll and HR legislation and processes, tax and MPF requirements.
