Our client is a leading investment bank in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Senior Middleware Engineer to help design technical architecture and middleware infrastructure.

Responsibilities 

• Design technical architecture and middleware infrastructure  in an efficient and scalable environment which complies with internal guidelines and standards.
• Applying leading practice, standards and techniques to technical implementation
• Prepare and consolidate the technical and non-functional requirements for the RFP process
• Review technical design and implementation related documents to ensure technical and operational requirements are met
• Ensures appropriate standards are adopted and that effective quality controls are built into the technical design and implementation
• Ensures appropriate change management processes are implemented.

Requirements

• 6+ years of work experience with a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Good track record of working with large scale technical platform design and implementation
• Sound experience in production support of mission-critical system
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in high availability, disaster and cross-site recovery design and implementation
• Strong in Oracle Weblogic Application Server/ IBM MQ 
• Working technical knowledge of Windows, Linux, SAN, Load Balancer, Database, Middleware, Enterprise monitoring/scheduling tools, and Virtualization infrastructure
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, explain technical issues to management, users and vendors
• A good team player with a strong sense of co-operation and be able to collaborate with different stakeholders in a complex environment
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively
