Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will principally be responsible of the overall direction of all the Intermodal contractual matters for the Group in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Propose solution and strategies related to Intermodal  procurement matters;
• Follow up and tackles issues related to contracts (application / follow up / termination);
• Take lead and conduct long term / spot contracts negotiation as required and secure best operational and pricing conditions for the Group;
• Protect interest of the Group among the vendors;
• Establish and review terms and conditions of contracts with Legal team;
• Establish and effective execution of KPI on actual Intermodal expenses in Asia;
• Issuance of reports as required;
• Assist local team in their negotiation with vendors;
• Ensure smooth communication and relationship with other parties (Logistic, CC Log, Agent Control, Treasury Department, vendors, Authorities, etc);
• Build and maintain good relationships within and between the internal departments (Develop good working relationship and collaboration within department and organization to cultivate ideal and fruitful working environment);
• KPI monitoring and achievements (Endeavour to achieve or exceed KPI established by management);
• Motivate network team to achieve/exceed goals, hence promoting job satisfaction;
• Imaginative as challenging stakeholders on tailor made KPI;
• Any other assignments as and when requested by the Management.

Requirements:

• Master Degree or MBA in transport industry or relate disciplinary;
• At least 10 years’ solid experience in container shipping and/or logistic industry and with at least 5 years’ solid experience in procurement;
• Pleasant, self-motivated, able to handle multi-tasks and work independently and under pressure;
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Experience in Intermodal operations (barge/rail/truck), container operations on ship and/or shore and office operations is an advantage;
• Excellent command of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint advanced features;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
