General Summary of the Position

• To source the products to provide souring solution at meet the cost and quality requirement
• Identify the best in class manufacturers and build supplier relationship
• Responsible the end-to-end project management, meet the on time delivery & quality KPIs
• Build product category expertise in the responsible areas to become sourcing champions
• Negotiate the commercial benefits to bring the best value products to our customers
• Implement the sourcing strategy and sourcing plan
• Good Team player, liaise with cross functional team in project management
• Responsible for order management, maintain accurate data records in system / database
• Fast learner and able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
• Assertive, self-motivated and excellent communication skills

Financial responsibilities: (budget, costs )

• Response to deliver the maximum Synergy saving for WBA
• Negotiate the best optimum cost with suppliers to enhance the profit margin

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

• Responsible for end to end delivery of specific NPD and any ongoing replenishment skus, to an agreed cost, quality and on time
• Support line manager to manage key stakeholders throughout the process to deliver the required results
• Manage a project to achieve KPIs: Synergy Benefits, Margin Improvement, on time delivery, first time inspection rates, LEAN savings, and Lead time reduction
• Support line manager to drive project team and suppliers for continuous improvement and efficiency in managing project/program

• Lead and monitor suppliers the end to end supply chain activities, including artwork, sample, production, on time delivery

• US buying team, Own Brand Team, Product Development Team, Global Sourcing Team
• Local Cross functional Team

Education and Qualifications

• University Graduate or equivalent

Job Experience

• At least 6 years of solid experience in categories related to home (cookware, tableware, kitchen gadget and small home appliances), tools (hand tools and automotive) and pets in sourcing and buying environment. Candidates with less experience may be considered as Product Executive position. 
• Experience in manufacturing environment would be an advantage
• Familiar with the US retail market and sound product knowledge
• Strong connection with supplier base
• Able to handle multi-tasks and posses a high level of initiative and integrity under a dynamic and competitive environment

Knowledge and Skills

• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as capability to interact effectively with all levels
• Good team players with ability to work with associates from local team and overseas team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Good command of English and Putonghua

Desirable Personal Attributes and Competencies

• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
• Assertive, self-motivated and excellent communication skills

• Willing to travel
