Our client, a well-known leather products manufacturer with their own brand, they are now looking for a candidate with following requirements,

Job Responsibilities: 

• Follow up from the Concept and Early development stages.  
• Collaborate with Material Developers and Vendors, work out concept samples to present to design, support US design team when they travel to Asia
• Assist In-season Development
• Monitor Sample execution to meet design intend and timely delivery from proto to Production samples
• Monitor Product testing (including wear test) to meet Product Safety Standard
• Collaborate with Costing team for Cost options
• Handle pre-production approval, based on Standard set by US Partner
• Review and approve Trim card for bulk Production
• Manage Technical packs to second vendors for double sourcing
• Collaborate with quality team and vendors to drive for technical solution in sampling and Bulk Production stage
• Standardize and drive for Signature Construction for Brand Integrity  

Job Requirements :

• At least 8 years' of experience in Product development role, handling Handbags and Accessories
• Good knowledge in Leather products 
• Well organized and able to work under pressure
• Excellent English verbal and written is a must, proficiency in Cantonese, Putonghua or another Asian language an advantage
• Willing to travel frequently to suppliers in Asia Pacific region
