Responsibilities

• Develop and support existing and new products according to business requirements
• Manage the factory audit, Inspection, testing and approval/rejection of finished products
• Co-ordinate activities and perform duties related to quality assurance and laboratory accreditation with both internal staff and external accreditation bodies
• Carry out product research & development, engineering and debug to meet product specifications 
• Work with vendors and merchandisers to develop product specification and inspection criteria

 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant
• At least 5 years relevant experience in Toys industry; Candidate with less experience may be considered as Technologist
• Experience in buying/sourcing office is an advantage
• In depth knowledge on US product development on toys and familiar with US regulation and testing standards e.g. CPSIA, ASTMF963 and California prop. 65
• Flexible and self motivated to succeed
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with global office and suppliers
• Logical, detail- minded, willing to learn and a good team player
• Good command of spoken and written English and conversational Mandarin
• Computer literacy in MS Office, i.e. Words, Excel, Powerpoint & Chinese word processing
