Job Description

-  Identify, develop, and qualify adequate and strong supplier base in China and parts of Southeast Asia.

-  Work with Merchandisers' and Sales in the US and local market to ensure service, competitive pricing, and overall effective project execution.

-  Evaluate and negotiate overall sourcing initiatives: supply negotiation, on time deliveries, supplier process improvement.

-  Work closely with designers and suppliers to conduct first sample approval, quality surveillance and capacity audits and to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that might effect quality and delivery requirements.

- Select suitable suppliers to align with company requirement and conducting quality check.

-  Manage the supplier development.

Requirements

- F.7 or above - University Degree is preferred

- 3 to 5 years experience in sourcing in the apparel industry

- Strong Network of Vendors on both finish products and materials

- Good understanding of cost price calculation and supply base management

- Self motivated and result driven

- Excellent command of written and spoken English (Mandarin is also very helpful)

- Strong communicator and able to influence people
