GENERAL SUMMARY

Maintain merchandising information, create purchase orders and communicate with vendors on order follow up.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily operational activities in product development, preproduction sample development, costing, preliminary screening and production tracking.

• Create non-core merchandise orders into Island Pacific System; revise purchase order when changes occur.

• Assist in tracking production processes properly to meet quantity, quality, order specification and delivery dates requirements. Maintain supplier T&A production tracking reports.

• Assist with daily operation activities in product development during buying trip and production tracking

• Maintain department reports, spreadsheets and analysis.

• Communicate order details and requirements to factories and parties concerned.

• Assist in organizing samples.

• Coordinate with headquarter to set up and maintain SKU, UPC, and vendor information.

• Identify training and development needs for your current responsibilities with your direct supervisor.

• Other duties as assigned.

   

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

• Fluency in English (written & oral)

• Knowledgeable in MS Office and Excel.

• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.

   

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION

• F 6 or above, University Degree preferred.

• 0 – 4 years merchandising and/or retail experience preferred.
