Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Project management of enterprise initiatives – assemble team, develop work plan, deploy a structured project management approach to monitor progress, resolve issues, manage stakeholders’ expectations and achieve project objectives

 

  • Market intelligence – lead research on macro-economic environment and industry trends that are important for top management’s decision making;

 

  • Support on business analysis and strategy formulation – partner with country managers, business leaders and functional leaders to conduct competitor and business analysis, develop insights into strategic directions and develop relevant capabilities development action plans

 

  • Develop detailed project plans independently and monitor the execution of key project activities
  • Execute robust quantitative and qualitative analysis and derive management implications
  • Establish credibility and develop an effective working relationships with senior executives in order to manage/influence the project effectively
  • Develop compelling presentations for executive audience
  • Provide coaching and facilitate knowledge transfer to project team members

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (e.g. Qualification, Job Experience):

 

  • Passionate about the fashion/ apparel industry and eager to work in a company that leads the development of the industry
  • A creative intellect with a problem-solving mindset
  • Willing to push beyond the boundaries of existing practices
  • Tenacious and resourceful, always able to find pragmatic alternative within constraints
  • Experienced in project management (of cross-functional business initiatives) and change management
  • A team player who can drive results while being sensitive to team dynamics
  • College degree, business related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the business field to lead business improvement projects
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) in both English and Chinese
  • Willing to travel occasionally
