PURPOSE OF POSITION:

As a CSO (Civil Society Organization) Capacity Building Project in-charge, he/she will lead in the development of the strategy plan to build up the capability of CSOs in Mainland China. Aiming to incubate competent CSOs, the Project in-charge will lead a team to design, plan, implement and evaluate the programs and services delivered to the CSOs.

Responsibilities:

• To lead in the development of the CSOs’ capacity building strategic plan
• To facilitate networking relationships with government, NGOs and other key partners
• To ensure the project is running with appropriate utilization of funding resource and good accountability
• To manage the project team with good morale, passion and high efficiency
• To ensure quality and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly, bi –annual and annual projects/programs narrative and financial reports
• Responsible for CSO project management and coordination National Strategy

Requirements:

• Degree holder major in development
• At least 4 years' experience in Training or Teaching
• Working experience in project management
• Cross-cultural experience, understanding and sensitivity
• Experience in managing and supervising staff
• Good facilitation skill and problem solving capability
• Professional Maturity
• Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in Chinese and English
• Frequent travelling to Mainland China is needed
