Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, this position covers Asia region including Hong Kong, China and Singapore and Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full sets of accounts, month-end and year-end closing and ensure all statutory guidelines and GAAP requirements are fulfilled
• Ensure smooth running of various finance and accounting functions including accounts payable and payment functions
• Handle annual audit and complete monthly and annual tax filings.  Liaise with external auditors and relevant authorities on tax and statutory matters.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax planning and cost analysis
• Review and implement accounting procedures, system and internal compliance where appropriate
• Participate in ad hoc projects for system enhancement / implementation and business process re-engineering

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
• Qualified Accountant or Finalist of professional examination
• With 3 years Big-4 training
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably gained from MNC in service industry
• Self-motivated, attention to details, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge in project accounting and system implementation will be an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
