Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and advice to the business units of the Group in Asia including but not limited to the areas of HR, Finance and Operations Asia as well as support the Group’s activities in Europe;
• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements and other legal documentation;
• Identify potential legal issues under any business contract and contemplated transactions;
• Conduct in-depth detailed research on various issues;
• Oversee general corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters;
• Select and co-ordinate with the external lawyers that the company may outsource to and liaise with regarding various transactions and company activities;
• Co-ordinate with European counterpart on the cross border legal matters; and
• Perform other projects or tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements:

• Holder of a degree in law;
• Professional qualification as a lawyer preferred but not a must;
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, in-house experience in commercial field preferred;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Proactive, detail-minded, able to work independently and able to meet tight deadline;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
