The job holder is responsible to act as the team leader and identify / implement policy and procedures to improve freight objectives per ANL Head Office. Also responsible for taking the lead for all long idle issues in Asia.

Responsibilities:

l           Monitor and supervise the team with the audit task on the manifest immediately after the documentation of the voyage is completed and ensure no further amendments are made except as per the approved procedure;

l           Consolidate and prepare ongoing reports with results of audits and send audit report of each voyage to all concerned;

l           Ensure documentation of each voyage is completed as per the agreed schedule;

l           Investigate the origin of the error and be the focal point to gather all being identified systems discrepancies for eliminating accordingly;

l           Analyze statistical reports of the common errors and provide recommendation on steps to reduce /eliminate such errors;

l           Monitor and coordinate with local offices regarding long idle containers to maximize equipment Utilization;

l           Recommend training / systems updates to minimize the manifest errors;

l           Any other assignment as and when required.

Requirements:

l           Degree in Shipping / Logistics or Finance Accounting related disciplines

l           At least 3 years accounting working experience preferably in Liner

l           Well developed analytical skills including a high level of numeracy

l           Excellent computer skills including MS Excel
