Job responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Internal Audit Department;
• Assist in formulation of risk assessment, audit program and internal audit plan;
• Lead internal audit assignments on the Group’s financial, operational and compliance controls and recommend best practices to strengthen the Group’s internal control system;
• Identify control deficiency and operational inefficiency, initiate recommendations to management to enhance the internal control system of different business units;
• Lead the follow up audit and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations;
• Prepare audit reports and present audit findings to management of different business units in closing meetings;
• Assist in periodic presentation preparation to management and audit committee of the Group and;
• Conduct enhancement projects, special investigation and ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree within Finance/Accounting or related discipline;
• Member of HKICPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or other professional bodies is highly preferred;
• At least 5 year(s) internal auditing or external auditing experience, preferably with at least 2 years in supervisory level;
• Big 4 accounting firm experience or SOX experience is an advantage but not a must;
• Experience in apparel trading/distribution/manufacturing business is highly preferred;
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills in English and Chinese is a must;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills;
• Good team leader with strong sense of job commitment, coach subordinates closely and drive the team proactively;
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both written and spoken);
• Immediately availability is highly preferred; and
• Around 30% travelling is required, mainly in PRC and Asian countries;
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Internal Auditor.
