This position will base in Hong Kong and report to Asia Financial Controller. You will be responsible for managing the Financial Reporting and Internal Control team to provide accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with internal and external audits, legal and statutory requirements, to safeguard the assets of the company and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.

This position will require a strong tie to the daily business as well as working closely with the operating and accounting teams in various Asian units and our global office to ensure that finance requirements are met. You are expected to build effective relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job descriptions

• Reporting to Asia Finance Controller, you will have oversight for the regional reporting and compliance for the group, including the daily accounting operations as well as the regular reporting packages.
• Review internal controls and help improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the company’s practice is in full compliance to statutory legal and tax requirements.
• Support operational team with inventory management, manage payables and receivables.
• Liaise with overseas units to prepare, review and maintain financial reporting from a group perspective and responsible for certain standard groups reports
  
  
  

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent with a professional accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in manufacturing industry and at least 3 years at management level.
• Possess extensive exposures in China business environment and be familiar with PRC taxation and accounting standards and formulate appropriate transfer pricing policy. Customs knowledge in China is an added advantage.
• Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin skills preferred.
• High literacy in Microsoft office programs and familiar with computerized accounting system.
