The position is expected to lead and manage a team of professional auditors and provide assurance to management that controls are adequate to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and monitor risk-based integrated audit engagements for World Vision China according to general accepted internal audit standard
• Conduct control assurance reviews on the financial and operational processes of the organization.
• Develop and maintain a quality assurance and improvement programmes that covers all the aspects of the internal audit activity
• Prepare reports of audit results and recommendations to management by using good writing skills
• Manage World Vision China Internal Audit Team efficiently and effectively, and Supervise and review the work of the internal auditors
• Act as a strategic partner to World Vision China management by championing innovation, implementing Risk Based Integrated Audit.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business
• A graduate degree in Accounting or Management is preferred
• Full accounting or auditing qualifications-CPA, ACCA, CIA, or other recognized accounting qualification
• At least 5 years prior auditing / management accounting experience in a recognized organization, experience in Mainland China accounting / audit is a plus.
• Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English
• Good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably Sun Systems
• Competent in Microsoft Office
• Frequent travel to Mainland China is needed and work independently in remote areas
