Job Description
The Role:
Relationship Management and Relationship Building
- Manage and develop frontline senior relationships with Investment Banks within Corporate Access, Research & Institutional Sales and serve as a central point of contact to major investment banking clients, assisting with analysis, execution of events & conferences and advising on best practices via telephone, email and in person
- Understand Dealogic’s Investment Banking client base and work to strengthen the relationship through supporting, training and strategic dialogue with key users and contacts
- Identify opportunities to increase the footprint of the product (and other Dealogic products) throughout all covered clients
- Nurture client relationships and share product feedback with ICM Management
- Identify and develop new senior contacts (MD level/Heads of Desks) within the banks
- Identify issues and potential concerns in the relationship and work to rectify these (with sales, client relations, development, IT, other products)
- Maintain and execute a client plan for each of the covered clients
Personnel Management and Daily Tasks
- Train/Mentor one or more Relationship Associates
- Actively lead efforts to build the ICM brand and pitch the product to potential clients
- Support internal teams where and when required (special analysis; development-specifications, testing, reporting; cross-product training, info sessions)
- Execute other special projects
The Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent
- Experience in working in a client facing role and proactively managing client relationships
- Aptitude for technology is an advantage
- Good understanding of investment banking and capital markets industry is essential
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and work under pressure
- Strong work ethic, keen to learn and proven capability to work on own initiative
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
