Job Description
Purpose of job
Work as part of the operations team to support the trading function of the Caravel Resources unit of the Company.
Main duties and responsibilities

Handle import and export bills and letters of credit

Support contract administration process
-
Process paperwork efficiently
-
Manage electronic and paper filing
-
Provide detailed and regular updates of shipments / deliveries to seniors and trader. Details to include: cargo status, inspection updates, vessel location and payment of each contract.

Prepare reports related to outstanding payments / claims / bank costs etc.
Education / experience / technical skills required

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a trading house or bank
- Experience with Carbons or Iron Ore commodities preferred

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines

Good communication skills

Good team spirit
-
English and Cantonese language skills
