Description

One of our top tier investment-banking clients is seeking for a Business Analyst to support their Risk Management platform for a year assignment. Contract extension might subject to the business needs and candidate performance.



Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain Limits processes to ensure FLEX system documentation, plans and reports are relevant, accurate as well as complete
  • Track and report on FLEX system performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive and prioritized view of all projects
  • Act as a reference point for FLEX system queries and information and an advocate for best practices
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across various clusters to enable the management team to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting
  • Develop productive working relationships with senior CRO management to ensure they understand their risks and have controls and processes in place to manage those risks.
  • Understand the deliverables of internal and external clients and contribute to success through cooperative and collegial processes
  • Track and monitor program wide risk and issues log for Limits, providing timely escalation to appropriate governing bodies through weekly meetings and reporting artifacts
  • Review testing plans, work papers and results and ensure prepared to a sufficient quality that they will meet internal and external requirements (when needed).
  • Challenge the completion of operational risk and control self-assessments and contribute to the wider controls agenda on how management ensures they are aware if they are in control.
  • Review how issues identified are resolved and whether actions taken are suitable and sustainably implemented.
  • Miscellaneous and ad hoc reporting requests from the clusters.



Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline
  • Internal control focused experience in one or more of the following areas: model risk management, market risk, liquidity risk management, credit risk, product control, price verification, regulatory compliance, trading controls, or financial reporting
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following: development or maintenance of risk management control frameworks; performance of internal controls reviews / audits; governance and policy frameworks; Regulatory findings management, including action plan writing, tracking, issue closure and validation
  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse group of both technical and non-technical resources
  • Capability to balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress
  • Highly disciplined individual, self-motivated, delivery focused with the ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups of senior management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Financial Services products with focused understanding of broader Finance function
  • Familiarity and experience of the regulatory landscape and the changes impacting Foreign Banking Organizations
