One of our investment-banking clients which located in central is seeking for a Product Risk Control to join their company for a year assignment. Contract extensions will be subject to individual performance and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• To implement business controls and strategies to help enhance and strengthen the product risk framework, controls and compliance for wealth management business
• To perform regular risk monitoring with the aid of computer programming
• To assist with risk reporting to senior management.
• To establish regional framework and perform periodic reviews to improve effectiveness of various control check points, and ensure consistency and quality of the controls
• To identify risk issues for better control environment, in addition to key areas of improvement
• To promote control and compliance culture
• To prepare training for the business and effective communications.
• To assist with ad hoc duties as assigned by other Managers and the Department Head

Job Requirements

• University degree holder in related fields, including business, finance and accounting and so on
• 3-5 years of related experience in controls and risk management is required
• Knowledge of HKMA and SFC regulations and rules is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Powerpoint and especially Excel)
• Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
• Detail-minded and strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to address issues independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Languages skills: English and preferably Chinese
