Responsibilities:

• To assist in health programming (design, monitoring and evaluation), documentation and reporting of health ministry at national level
• To assist in providing technical support in health projects related to maternal child health and nutrition (MCHN), child diseases and infections, water and sanitation and hygiene (WASH), child injures
• To assist in designing and monitoring of health projects in mainland China
• To assist in organizing and conducting capacity building activities for health projects

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Public Health/ Medicine/ Nutrition/ Nursing/ Behavioral Sciences
• Preferably having at least 2 year of work experience in related areas of Public Health/ Medicine/ Nutrition/ Nursing
• Have great interest in public health development and rural health care in China, and particularly health issues related to children
• Able to appreciate the linkage between health and development work
• Being independent, responsible, team-player or willing to learn how to work in a team, have interest in people
• Sensitive to the different cultures in China and willing to work among the marginalized groups and poor people in China
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English
• Competent in basic computer skills, preferably in English and Chinese
• Frequent travel to mainland China
