Responsibilities:

• Perform regular quality system and process audits at the suppliers and follow up corrective action plans
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for:

a) 4 color offset printing, PMS match multi-color printing, gravure printing, silkscreen and pad printing

b) laminations & special surface treatments

c) vacuum form tray and clamshell production

d) laser & inkjet marking

• Monitor the overall quality performance of vendors including conducting on-site press approvals
• Coordinate root cause analysis with suppliers to fix problems
• Collect production and quality data to perform SPC analysis and prepare regular quality reports
• Handle customer complaints systematically and ensure the corrective actions are effective
• Follow up the product reliability testing setup, data verification and samples preparation
• Maintain and support product/process qualification documentation, such as first article inspection, control plan, flowchart, inspection procedure, and work instruction at supplier site
• Experience on writing formal 8D reports

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or Graphic Arts
• At least 5 years of working experience in packaging design and production, extensive knowledge of printing processes, experience in vacuum forming and clam shell design and production, heat shrink, and corrugated packaging production
• PC literate and good MS Excel
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Good communication skills (must be able to interact fluently with foreign customers in written correspondence, telephone and video conference calls, and frequent face to face meetings), strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Based at Shenzhen factory
• Experience in multi-national company environment
