This position is based in Hong Kong.

The Sales Manager will identify innovative ways to promote Travelzoo's products in the competitive and virtual world of travel. This individual will take industry trends and market research and meld it into a strategic sales plan in order to generate new relationships and accounts.

As the Sales Manager, it is necessary to source high-qualityand negotiates outstanding deals for Travelzoo’s audience.  Because Travelzoo has huge group buying power among its high income audience, local businesses attract unbelievable volumes of new customers within minutes of being recommended on Travelzoo Local Deals (http://www.travelzoo.com/hk/local-deals/).All deals are carefully selected and Travelzoo onlypublishes top-value offers.

Responsibilities :

• Sell Travelzoo’s media and local deal
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
• Develop outstanding advertising sales relationships within the Hong Kong travel industry, both via telephone and in person
• Evangelise on behalf of Travelzoo’s28 million members worldwide to source the very best travel deals

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree minimum
• Around 3 years sales experience from the following industries, namely hotel sales, travel agent (OTA) sales, on-line media sales, local deal voucher business; preferable to source hotel package, F&B premium restaurant and Spa deals
• Good on-line and social media knowledge
• Able to do cold calling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about travel / internet business/ voucher business, attend client functions and professionally represent the company
