Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is responsible for requirements gathering, system design, development and implementation of system for General Insurance & Corporate Benefit Business of Hong Kong.

The Job:

• Responsible for General Insurance and Corporate Benefit Business systems of Hong Kong
• Manage projects implementation
• Carry out feasibility study of any new requirements
• Prepare documentation on requirement and technical specification, and user manual
• Perform system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement
• Evaluate and recommend new IT products and technologies
• Provide system maintenance and support of production systems
• Responsible for the work assignment and coaching of team members and contract staff working in the project.
• Monitor the development by vendor

The Person:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent, minimum 8 years working experience on Java, .Net or RPG400, with at least 4 years at a System Analyst position and solid experience on General Insurance or Corporate Benefit business knowledge
• Experience in Java development with Spring framework, .Net Framework 4 or above, AS/400 RPG platform
• Sound General Insurance or Corporate Benefit Insurance Domain knowledge
• Good project management skills
• Good concept and hands-on experience in system development methodology and life cycle
• Sound record in implementing/supporting General Insurance or Corporate Benefit Insurance Systems
