Executive Summary:

Our client is a global management consultancy with strong Asia presence. The Business Strategy Manager applies strategy development, architecting value and operating model architecture skills, influence through insight and partner with our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues. He/she provides deep understanding of clients’ industry landscape and business options in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends

Major Responsibilities:

• Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
• Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within the company on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
• Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures onnew assignments.
• Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
• Manages medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within the consultancy. 

Key Requirements:

• Degree background in relevant area ideally within a quantitative discipline. MBA is preferred
• Experience developing sales pipelines in the Retail Banking and Insurance sectors (General Insurance or Life Insurance), on consulting side engagements.
• Experience designing business or technology strategies, target operating models, roadmap's and blueprints for large scale business transformation
• Strategy project experience, ideally gained within the Strategy Function of a consulting firm
• Experience acting as key point of contact to C Suite.
• Experience managing large diverse teams including designing resource plans, and developing community engagement. 
• Understanding of legislation, regulatory requirements, latest technologies and industry events impacting Banking and/or Insurance
• Content experience in Retail Banking, and / or General insurance including digital enablement

• Desire to work in an information systems environment 
• Excellent communication skills including influencing at the C Suite level
