Responsibilities:

• Review cover notes &/or slips, contractual wordings and other reinsurance documentation
• Assist in administrating and monitoring reinsurance programme
• Prepare statements of accounts, bordereaux, reinsurance reports periodically and assist in any ad hoc projects
• Responsible for credit control by monitoring reinsurance premium and claims collection regularly in order to support Company’s credit policy
• Monitor and review retention levels for various classes of business
• Conduct yearly assessment on company’s financial strength and keep track of any development &/or rating updates on monthly basis
• Provide operational support to ensure continue quality improvement & efficient running of departmental operations
• Provide administration support and maintain efficient documentation and filing systems in the department

Requirements:

• Diploma holder or other recognized insurance qualification
• Min. 5 years of working experience in reinsurance field
• Knowledge in handling treaty renewal and placement is a definite advantage
• Good mathematics and analytical skills will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Familiar with MS Office applications

(Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Senior Clerk)
