Role Overview

This is a level 1 help-desk support position. Its role is to assist the Infrastructure Team in meeting the organization’s IT needs. A majority of this person’s time will be spent responding to requests received via email, phone calls, and in-person visits. Any time left over will be spent. Working on projects to help grow the organization’s technology infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

• Support end-users with IT related problems in a responsive and service oriented manner
• Assist with troubleshooting, installation and implementation of systems
• Ensure data integrity with regard to our fixed asset inventories
• Maintain hardware and software maintenance agreements to ensure integrity of operations processes.
• Able to support offsite at events on a weekend

Qualifications Experience and Skilled in most or all of the following:

• IT , Computer Science or related degree
• 1-2 years in IT Support or 1st Level Helpdesk Support. Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Microsoft Windows Desktop OS – Windows 7
• Basics of Networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Organized, thorough, and has great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and can handle frequent interruptions
• Can consistently follow protocol and instructions
• Can work independently with little management direction
• Document process, procedures, and results
