Job Description

Job Purpose:

Be a champion and accountable for the mission of winning in the traditional channels (key accounts, dealers, family KTV, KTV and local bars) with a view for selective showcasing strategic brands and recruiting young drinkers.

 

Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:

Drive business results and market share in traditional channels for strategic brands

  •  Strategically in association with TMM and sales team to identify issues / opportunity for our strategic brands (Martell, Chivas, Malts, Wines and Champagne) for off-trade and on-trade
  • Develop depletion plan / proposal collaborating with sales team focusing on festive seasons (MAF and CNY) aiming at driving business results and market share
  • As the key interface with FKTV to develop activation plans for key brands (Chivas, Martell and Mumm) with a view to drive depletion and recruit young consumers
  • Collaborate with sales team in developing depletion activations in contracted KTV outlets with a view to drive brand (Martell, Chivas and Malts) rotation and market share
  • Be the project owner to drive execution excellence for aligned channel action plan with all the key stakeholders (customers, agencies, marketing and sales team) for brand activations
  • Continously review quantitative (ROI) and qualitative (feedback externally / internally and visibility) results with TMM for improving plan and actions

 Showcasing and recruiting young consumers

  • Collaborate with community marketing to identify strategic outlets to drive showcasing brands (Martell, Chivas and Malts) visibility in selective off-trade outlets for reaching out to Chinese travellers
  • Collaborate with community marketing in devising and executing plan in engaging / recruiting young consumers through digital and outlet activations in FKTV

Efficient and effective management of POSM

  • In conjunction with Trade Marketing Executive in devising budget, ordering, quality control and maintaining optimal quantity of POSM
  • Work with sales team on demand forecast of POSM and response promptly to trade and sales team requests
  • Drive collaboration with Pernod Ricard China / Taiwan for POSM “Greater China Synergy” with his / her counterparts in China and Taiwan

Planning / budgeting

  • In conjunction with TTM to develop annual Corporate Budget Plan / Strategic Plan
  • Develop 3 months rolling Trade Marketing Plan sharing effectively to Management, Sales and Community Marketing team
  • Closely monitor A&P spend in line with budget and quarterly revisions
  • Evaluate with TMM for A&P spend on a regular basis with a view to improve effectiveness

 Others

  •  Report on a regular basis competitors’ activities and analyze impact to PRHKM
  • Be the key planner / coordinator for trade related events (e.g. tasting, new product launches, brand ambassador dinner) to drive trade advocacy for strategic brands and strengthen reputation of PRHKM

 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional diploma holder with marketing related qualifications preferred
  • 4-5 years proven marketing / commercial experience in driving brand activations in key accounts / dealers channels
  • Experience in working with on-trade channel highly desirablKnowledge of Wine & Spirit industry highly preferred
  • Digital savvy with experience in engaging trade / consumer targets through digital approach
  • Great communicator to all levels
  • Great coordination skills internally and externally
  • Proactive attitude and possess good business acumen and judgment
  • Creative and good at problem solving
  • Energetic and great team player. Prepare to work at nights and weekends (irregular hours) when required
  • Possess good organization skills (planning, budgeting and attention to details)
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fluency in Mandarin is a must
